Lent is time of repentance, fasting and preparation for the coming of Easter. It is a time of self-examination and reflection. This is a season of forty days, not counting Sundays, which begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Saturday and represents the time Jesus spent in the wilderness, enduring temptation, and preparing to begin his ministry. Sundays in Lent are not counted in the forty days because each Sunday represents a “mini-Easter” and the reverent spirit of Lent is filled with joyful anticipation of the Resurrection.

Prayer is a two way conversation between us and God. Writing down our prayers helps us in our spiritual journey; deepening our relationship. Journaling helps us become aware of answered prayers validating God’s faithfulness, strengthening our relationship with Christ and increasing our faith. Praise is our gratitude for answered prayers or fulfillment of our deepest concerns overflowing with a spirit of thanksgiving. This beautiful prayer and praise journal is printed on quality stock and perfectly sized making it convenient to keep with you at all times or at your bedside.
