God knows the desire of our heart…

Psalm 37:4 King James Version (KJV)

Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

In 2008, I was an Apprenticeship Representative for the Commonwealth of Virginia and walked through the door of the company I now work for.  My current employer was a Sponsor of the Virginia Registered Apprenticeship Program at that time.  I may have only crossed the threshold of this company a few times; but, every time I returned to my vehicle, I thanked God for the opportunity to visit and told my Heavenly Father that I wished to work in a place just like that one day!  God took notice of my heart desire.

Psalm 145:19 King James Version (KJV)

19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

Fast forward to 2017, I ended up at a staffing agency looking for work.  They called me to come in and review my qualifications as they had found a position for me with a local company.  They gave me directions to the company to be interviewed by the owner.  Guess what God did…YES, the very SAME company.  God did that for me!  God will do that for YOU!

John 15:7-16 King James Version (KJV)

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

I have never been inside this gate; never walked across this grass. Don’t know who lives here and yet I praise God every time I see this place. The beauty and serenity touches me.  God knows how much I have enjoyed seeing this home and how I delight and thrill in the beauty and the glory of His wondrous creation visible from the roadside, hill-top view.

Psalm 149:4 King James Version (KJV)

For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

God desires fellowship with us.  He desires our communing with Him.  We are His children and He loves and adores us!  His word says, we are inscribed in the palm of His hands – Isaiah 49:16!  Not just our names but our very being (the essence of who we are in Jesus) – Praise God!

Matthew 7:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

God is not a man that He would lie, nor the son of man that He would need to repent (Numbers 23:19). Our Heavenly Father wants our commitment and dedication to Him.  He says, “Test Me, try Me, prove Me.  Taste and see how good I AM”

Malachi 3:10 King James Version (KJV)

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Psalm 34:8 King James Version (KJV)

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Come to the Father, as dear children. Let your petitions, your requests, be known. I don’t know when, or if it will be this very place, but I can assure you that one day I will walk up a driveway just like this, to a place that I call…HOME.

Matthew 19:26 King James Version (KJV)

26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
