Note from author:
Even today I struggle to act like the 50 year old adult that I am; then God gently nudges me and says, “Come on daughter, show the rest of my kids how to have fun! How to climb trees; skip a little bit; laugh a lot; don’t forget to smile at everybody; walk in the rain if you want to; love like there is no tomorrow; let your light shine; be who I created you to be and not conformed to the image the world sets! Take my Word and feed on it! Wear your armor, the whole armor of God…stand, loins girded with truth, breastplate of righteousness, feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, sword of the spirit – my Holy Word! Hang upside down if you want to BUT never, ever forget who you are and who I created you to be! You are a winner!! You are an overcomer!!! With me you can do anything. You are loved, you are precious, you are cherished, AND…you are mine!!!” Praise God! Just like my husband would get to laughing and say, “Woman, you tickle me! You act just like a child sometimes.” My Father God enjoys watching me have fun, allowing that “little girl” in me to escape and enjoy this life He created me for!! So…if any of you see me climbing a tree, or skipping across a parking lot, or riding the grocery cart to my car at the grocery store, laugh at me if you want to; BUT, I know who I AM and WHOSE I AM!!!
